For the clearest print, use the original photo file and choose an image with enough detail to print at 300 DPI at the selected size.
Avoid screenshots, images saved from social media or chat apps, and files that have been repeatedly compressed. They may look sharp on a small screen but show blur, blockiness or noise when printed at frame size.
The app quality indicator
The quality indicator only appears when the app detects a possible issue with the file or selected print area. If you do not see it, that is expected and means the app has not detected a quality issue.
The indicator is guidance rather than a guarantee of the final result. Focus, motion blur, heavy editing and compression can still affect a file with enough pixels.
For the best result:
- Start with the original file from your camera or phone.
- Check that the main subject is sharp at full size.
- Avoid enlarging a small image.
- Check the quality indicator again after changing the crop or frame.
